The saying “you can’t manage what you don’t measure” holds true in any field – documentation and tracking are essential to drive progress and make informed decisions. The European Union (EU) designed a Soil Strategy Actions Tracker to track the progress of the 90 actions outlined in the Soil Strategy for 2030. The strategy provides a framework and specific measures to protect and restore soils and ensure that soils are used sustainably. To date, 62 actions have been completed, 24 are in progress, and four have been withdrawn. Click here for details.
