Stephen Maxwell, Chair of the Australasian Sustainable Remediation Forum (SuRF ANZ) Specialist Interest Group, recently reflected on the organization’s fiscal year. He noted how recent revisions integrating sustainability requirements into the Sutherland Shire Council’s Development Control Plan for Contaminated Land set a precedent for other local governments to follow.
