SURF Webinar: Ten Years Later – The Progress and Future of Integrating Sustainable Principles, Practices, and Metrics into Remediation Projects

Would you like a better understanding of sustainable remediation of how sustainable remediation is practiced or ever wondered what new and cool things sustainable remediation practitioners are working on?

To address the above, thirteen members of SURF banded together and wrote a journal article entitled Ten Years Later – The Progress and Future of Integrating Sustainable Principles, Practices, and Metrics into Remediation Projects (available in the SURF library). The paper will be published in the Remediation Journal’s Fall edition and revisits the 2009 SURF white paper, Integrating Sustainable Principles, Practices, and Metrics into Remediation Projects. The new paper focuses on progress (and sometimes the lack of progress) made in sustainable remediation thus far, the state of the sustainable remediation practiced today, and the events and drivers that can be significant in the pace of further development of the practice.
