DESCRIPTION:Save the date for this international forum bringing together participants from government\, industry\, and research institutions to discuss remediation challenges and to collaborate on the application of both proven and innovative solutions. This event will take place at the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory in Richland\, Washington\, USA\, and a virtual option will be offered. \n\n\n\nThe call for abstracts is open\, and abstrats may be submitted until the June 6th deadline. \n\n\n\nThe 2025 Global Summit on Environmental Remediation is organized by the Center for the Remediation of Complex Sites (RemPlex) in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Network of Environmental Management and Remediation (IAEA-ENVIRONET). SUMMARY:Nominate Now for 2026 SURF Board of Trustees
DESCRIPTION:SURF is now accepting nominations for three Board positions (described below). Nominations for these positions will be accepted until December 19\, 2025. Elections will be held in January 2026.Both nominator and nominee must be SURF members in good standing. Self-nominations are permitted. The SURF Nominations Committee requests that you confirm with your nominee that they wish to be a candidate prior to submitting their name.Four Officer positions and five At-Large positions comprise the SURF Board of Trustees. All positions are two-year terms. Each SURF member in good standing may nominate: \n\n\n\n\nOne person for each of the open Officer positions on the Board of Trustees\n\nThis year the Treasurer position will be open for election.\n\n\n\n\n\nOne person for each of the open At-Large positions on the Board of Trustees\n\nThis year two At-Large positions will be open for election.\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNominations should be sent to Kathy Adams (kathy.adams@sustainableremediation.org). \n\n\n\n(Time shown is Eastern Daylight Time.)
