Participants will learn how sustainability indicators guide decision-making and set the foundation for applying these concepts to a real-world redevelopment scenario. \n\n\n\nHands-On Case StudyWork in groups on a Brisbane legacy industrial site case study. Role-play as regulators\, developers\, and community representatives to evaluate three remediation options. Use the SURE tool to score environmental\, social\, and economic indicators\, balancing trade-offs in a practical\, engaging exercise. \n\n\n\nWrap-Up and ReflectionsConclude with group discussion\, insights\, and Q&A. Explore lessons learned\, challenges in sustainable decision-making\, and how tools like greenhouse gas calculators can complement remediation planning. Attendees will leave with practical skills\, new perspectives\, and confidence to apply sustainable remediation in practice.
