Help SURF catalogue case studies that demonstrate sustainable remediation implementation and exemplify the nexus of environmental, social, and economic aspects of a project.

If you have been involved in a project that incorporates elements of sustainable remediation, please consider preparing a case study for submittal to SURF’s Technical Initiative team.

Call for Abstracts: Ninth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds

The Ninth International Conference on Remediation of Chlorinated and Recalcitrant Compounds will be held May 19-22, 2014, in Monterey, California. One of the world’s most comprehensive environmental remediation conferences, the Conference typically is attended by more than 1,600 scientists, engineers, regulators, remediation site owners, and other environmental professionals representing universities, government agencies, and R&D and manufacturing firms from about 30 countries. The 2014 Conference will provide an intensive four-day technical program of approximately 800 platform and poster presentations and several panel discussions.

Similar to previous years, the conference will feature a track on Green and Sustainable Remediation (GSR). Several SURF members have been involved in planning the GSR track and are serving as session chairs.  The track will also include a panel discussion, the details of which are to be determined.  Below is a listing of potential sessions and session chairs for the GSR track.
