A Framework for Sustainable Remediation

SURF Trustee Karin Holland has published a Viewpoint in Environmental Science and Technology.  The Viewpoint emphasizes the need for a universal, yet flexible, framework for incorporating sustainability principles into the remediation decision-making process, regardless of the remediation program, the type and extent of impacts or where the site is located.

SURF has attempted to address this need by developing such a framework.  You can download a copy of the framework in the SURF library, and the Viewpoint from ES&T's website.
